Questions

What am I paying for, if my provider already charges for delivery?
Hosting and the team. Delivery is your provider's job and bill; Senlo renders, personalises, tracks and automates. The free plan is the whole product for one person. Pro adds members, roles and an audit log, which self-hosting does not have, and more volume.
What counts as an email?
Every message Senlo hands to your provider: one triggered send or one send step of an automation. Emails your provider sends outside Senlo are not counted.
What is a workflow run?
One contact entering one automation, however many steps it has. A welcome sequence with three emails and two waits is one run and three emails.
What happens at the limit?
Senlo stops, it does not bill overage. At the emails limit, sends are refused and no new run starts; at the runs limit, new runs are refused while triggered emails keep going out. Owners and admins get a mail at 80 % and at 100 %, and the counters reset on the first of the month (UTC).
Can I have more than one organization?
Yes. Each organization has its own plan and billing; one account can own up to 3 and be a member of any number. Only an organization's owner changes its plan.
Where is my data?
On Senlo's own servers (the privacy page names the hosting provider and location): Postgres, Redis and nightly backups. Provider credentials are encrypted at rest. Your provider gets the rendered message and the recipient, nothing else. Self-host if you want nothing to leave your network.
Is there a trial?
Free is the trial: it does not expire. Upgrade when you invite the second person or outgrow the monthly limits; downgrade whenever you like.
